WHY PAC-ARMOR?
Pac-Armor was developed to contain any invasive pests that may be present during fumigation and to reduce the risk of re-infestation of pests post fumigation.
Complete exclusion is the primary goal of the Pac-Armor cover. If exclusion of pests is not achieved, a secondary goal would be containment. This containment may be a benefit to inspectors in certain situations. It could help an inspector identify where a certain insect has originated from. In addition, if there is a failure in the first fumigation process and a live pest is found, a secondary treatment can be conducted without the risk of re-introducing pests. This would be extremely beneficial for import countries.
